As if I needed a new blog, but here it is. This will be my new home for all things under my pen-name D. Anthony Brown, including links to e-books, information on upcoming releases, and rants about writing and publishing in general. My old website will remain active for sometime yet, but will no longer get updated.

The reason for this change–I was unhappy with Microsoft discontinuing Office Live Small Business, which I used for the old website. It was a great tool, and did everything I wanted it to do. The new service, Office 365, didn’t appeal to me and I do not wish to pay for services I don’t need or will ever use.

Unfortunately, I was unable to get the registration key for my old domain. I didn’t feel like waiting until the end of April for it to expire, since I have a number of projects I want published before then and I need a permanent space to advertise my work.

So… thus was born this web domain.

Musings & Mythos, my blog on LiveJournal, will continue to be updated, but I am still debating the direction I wish to take with it. I’m thinking it will be a reading journal of sorts–book reviews, marginalia, and rants that don’t necessarily have anything to do with my publications.
